Oval carabiners are ideal for use with wide-bodied equipment like pulleys and ascenders due to their symmetrical shape that allows for optimal loading. These carabiners are also designed for ease of use with a smooth interior that reduces snagging and a keylock gate that prevents accidental enhancement. The H-shaped cross-section offers a comfortable grip, protects markings from wear, and helps to keep the carabiner lightweight.
